Molly loves to steal gloves, feed pans, water buckets, etc.  I believe she thinks if she runs far enough away I won't see what she's up to.

My sidekick,  Dixie is "guarding" a bottle baby.  She won't let either of the two indoor/outdoor cats close to her baby.  She is the house guardian dog.  When we hatch chicks in the incubator she won't leave it's side until the last chick is hatched.   Dixie has always accepted the responsibility of mothering every creature I've brought home.  One of her favorites was "her" litter of abandoned kittens.  Dixie just turned 11 years old on March 21 and she is my best buddy....

Tiny little water turtle we found in the driveway.   Mike put him back in the pond to grow up.
This is "Little Man" our bottle baby from a set of quads and also the baby in the bucket that Dixie is guarding.    He thought Dixie was after him and he came streakin back towards me.
  
 This is the first time this little Alpine X Boer cross doeling has seen a chicken and she is fascinated with her.
